FitPDF Payment Terms

These Payment Terms apply to paid FitPDF plans and form part of the FitPDF Terms of Use. The free plan is provided without charge and is not subject to these terms.

1. Plans and price

All prices are stated in United States dollars. The price of a plan is the price displayed at the time you subscribe.

2. Tax

Prices are exclusive of any value-added tax, goods and services tax, sales tax or similar tax. Where such a tax applies to your subscription, it may be added to the amount you are charged, or withheld and remitted by the payment processor, according to the place of supply and applicable law. Any tax shown at checkout or on the payment processor's receipt is in addition to the price in Section 1 unless the checkout states otherwise.

3. Payment processor

Subscriptions are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store payment card details or PayPal account credentials. Your payment is subject to PayPal's own agreements with you. We receive only the subscription reference, the plan and the subscription's current status, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Automatic renewal

Paid plans renew automatically. Each subscription continues for successive monthly periods, and the price in Section 1 is charged at the start of each period, until the subscription is cancelled. Renewal is administered by PayPal under the billing agreement you approve at checkout. Where the law of your jurisdiction requires advance notice of a renewal, that notice will be given before the renewal takes effect.

5. Cancel

You may cancel at any time, through your PayPal account, in the section for recurring payments or automatic payments. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access to paid features continues until the end of the period already paid for, after which the account reverts to the free plan. Cancelling does not delete or alter any file you have already produced with FitPDF.

6. Refund

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation — including the 14-day withdrawal right available to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom — you may exercise that right in accordance with the applicable law, and these terms do not limit it.

Outside any statutory right, a paid period that has begun is non-refundable, except that we will refund a charge where the paid features were unavailable for a substantial part of the paid period for reasons attributable to us, or where a charge was taken in error. To request a refund, contact hello@lunaruplink.com with the subscription reference from your PayPal receipt. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method.

7. Failed or reversed payments

If a renewal payment fails, is reversed or is disputed, the paid features may be suspended until payment is resolved. A subscription that PayPal reports as cancelled, suspended or expired reverts to the free plan.

8. Your licence key

Checkout provides a licence key, which is what unlocks the paid features. There is no FitPDF account. Keep the key: we retain only a one-way hash of it and cannot reproduce it for you. A key may be used on your own devices. If a key is lost, contact hello@lunaruplink.com with the subscription reference from your PayPal receipt so a replacement can be issued.

9. Changes to a price

We may change the price of a plan or the features it includes. A change to the recurring price of an existing subscription takes effect only after notice given before the start of the period to which it applies, and never without the separate approval that PayPal requires for an increase to an existing billing agreement. If you do not accept a new price, you may cancel under Section 5.

10. Governing law

These Payment Terms are governed by the law of Canada, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you in your place of residence.
